Gobble Gobble
Heard on the news the average American consumes 5,000 calories on Thanksgiving Day. That is a great deal to chew on. Here’s something else to chew on:

Relo is a huge problem with the housing market in such a quandary. You are going to have to be flexible with relocation expenses – which means creative. Most who own a house can not sell it. If you want the talent, then give them a reason to move instead of staying where they are. Some may need advice on renting their house while they are in the process of selling it. Corporate housing is not an option and it will cost you a bit more considering the Candidate will need to stay in it longer.
Be prepared for the counter offer. It is not always about money either. If relo is going to be difficult, then it could be easier for your future employee to stay with their current employee.
With a new and improved title comes new and improved responsibility. If you are forking over more money, then have a list of expectations to go with it. Read it together and have it signed as part of the package.
Let us do the negotiating. We are used to crazy requests and can be the buffer from you having to hear every gory detail. We have the time – you don’t.
A serving of cranberry sauce has the same amount of sugar as 8 chocolate donuts.
